5 Places for Massive Impact In Ministry

1. Russia- Moscow College Ministry
I think that there are so many opportunities in Moscow that can change the whole country as a whole.
Moscow is home to almost all the universities in Russia; almost all people go to Moscow for college, it has over 500 universities. It is the center of culture for the country.

2. The internet- the San Francisco Area, Palo Alto College, Harvard
Google and company are one of the most influential things on the internet. We think of “the cloud” and I am not talking about “the logo” above on my website. Really I see these areas are high impact for the internet. I think that they need more missionaries that know how to pray. There is not a lot of churches in these areas and God can do so much with some hearts for him. Now we can do so much by strengthening the churches.

3.Africa-I heard on the radio that 6000 dollars in ministry funds towards Africa can save one soul on average. I hate to value something like that, but they also said it took 2 million dollars to bring one soul to the Lord in the United States. I think that this a little bit of preposterous-with some frustration for the gospel--they have probably never been to San Angelo, TX; but there is some insight in it. There is such a harvest in Africa for the gospel; people are loving God to find him in such faith.

My friend Megan Mole told me once that she really tries to show people a difference between faith and religion. It communicated to me in the same concept that people try to show when they say it is a relationship culturally not a religion culturally. In Africa, China and other places, They open to the distinction of faith and religion. The separation of religion and faith is better generally in peoples minds so that they there is a stronger abiding relationship in with the Lord in  certain places in the Lord. As this faith and religion is separated better the harvest will be seen as plenty as it really is for the Lord. This real faith discernment involves faith and the heart. This brings people to the Lord. In ministry, they will see all their hurt and they’re argument to avoid faith as the distinction of real relationship with Lord is seen; then faith will proclaim itself and manifest revival frequently.  When the lost see the love of the heart and faith of God in us, people will be saved.

Now faith is not random actions--based on yelling in the streets it is based on a gentle life that sees in a community the love of the Lord. When I went to the National Prayer Breakfast this week in San Angelo--we had the pleasure of hearing from Ruth Graham who is the daughter of Billy Graham. I love the Graham’s family’s attitude towards the gospel--I wish the church as a whole would look towards has they evangelize. The wisdom of how they approach things makes us see that we try too hard to share things in a way that we are annoying and not a people grow with a people a heart for the Lord. The Billy Graham Crusades are not just a show up event they are highly prepared. Most crusades take 2 years of planning with local churches. We are not to go in manipulating, or experimenting on people to figure out the trigger. We just serve their needs, answer their questions and help them see the value of a relationship with God as the centerpiece of our understanding of the world. It is gentle knowing and grace.

When we look at a harvest do we look at it like a farmer? Each phase of ministry has a different phases as soil must be worked on the heart. Until a person can see how wonderful the Lord is for us if we just seek him. If we watch him working, feeding our needs and showing us to what real life is; it isn’t us or a plan necessarily it is deeply involved in relationship connection. We grow through our experience.

We are harvesting a heart for a greater love for God. We hope to inspire others that do not know him to fall in love with him.

Some friends of mine are going to a place soon that is an unreached people group.

4.An Unreached people groups; are groups where there is  less than 2 percent have heard the gospel.

5. Hurt people groups--My friend Clara and my friend Mick both made the same point to me with the same question. Why do you think that people that declare themselves to say that there is no God?  Many have been hurt by people through various situations,  many have come from church backgrounds or have come from a hurt that makes them angry at God. We must be a people that offer healing and life to people’s problems with the Lord showing us what life and healing is from him. It can start as something simple, it doesn’t have to complex. It just need to be healing.

Call Center Ministry

In my job I deal with many hurt people; they call in for service my company’s products--with a hurt on the mind . Many times they tell me they are getting a divorce, or got out of the hospital or our going through a financial hardship. They have to tell me due to the product usually effects their billing drastically. Now hearing these calls can be draining if I let it get to me. I did for a while, but then I started praying for every need secretly, praying for healing, prayer for marriages-- people all over the country call in for the product servicing. They are blessed with God working in their area. Who knows what has done on their end? I noticed one thing; I wasn’t drained--my faith stood its ground and it prospered in the environment I am in for the Lord. Now I can not mention the company I work for due to company policy so please do not put company I work for I will delete the comment for my own safety.

Look at your needs that God has placed in your life and look at the problems that he let hit our lives. We may see how we can help in the grand scheme of things.
